Eileen Blume is a seasoned newborn photographer with a passion for capturing life's earliest, precious moments. Specializing in creating tangible memories for families, Eileen focuses on timeless portraiture and provides a stress-free environment at her boutique studio near Athens, Georgia. She is known for her incredible patience and care with newborns, and especially for her ability to capture portraits that reveal the personalities of even her smallest subjects. Together with her husband, Phillip, the Blumes love to travel and adventure with their three kids.

As both a mother and photographer, Eileen has designed the entire Blume Babies Experience around your needs as a new mother. We want you to feel relaxed, secure and pampered during your time in the studio. Therefore, you may choose to remain close and participate in your baby’s portraits throughout your session or — if you prefer — to observe from a distance while you restore yourself in our spa-inspired quiet room. Your newborn will be pampered as well, kept comfortable in a safe environment that’s warmed perfectly for a cozy sleep. You and your baby may break as needed for soothing and nursing. And, of course, Eileen will bring you and any other family members together for portraits as well.
Newborns are best photographed between 5 and 10 days old, when they are sleepiest and
flexible enough to get into those cute newborn positions. We will pencil in your due date, then schedule the actual session shortly after baby arrives. If your baby is older than two weeks, then we recommend booking one of our lifestyle sessions instead. Newborn sessions begin at 9:00 AM each morning, as availability allows.
Session fee is $199. Prints start at $150 and there is no minimum purchase required.
Maternity sessions are available as an add-on to booking a newborn session and take place between 31 and 34 weeks of pregnancy.

SESSION INFORMATION
Fine Art Image Boxes are the perfect complement to your portrait session. They become family heirlooms that can be passed down from generation to generation, and make a beautiful collection even when combining multiple sessions. These handmade art pieces are covered with a natural warm linen fabric and finished with a silk ribbon closure. Boxes are sized 8×10” and contain matted 5×7 photographic prints.
We also offer fine art books, wall art, and digital add-ons.
